Crawlability
20%Can AI bots reach your pages? Checks: robots.txt access, sitemap presence, noindex/nofollow conflicts, canonical integrity, HTTP status codes, AI-specific bot access matrix.
AnswerOS GEO Standard
Every score is built on this rubric. Every check is public. Every weight is documented. If your score changes between scans, you can trace why.
AnswerOS GEO Standard — v1.0.0
answerOs applies this rubric to a live crawl snapshot of your site. Checks are evaluated as pass (100% of weight), partial (50%), fail (0%), or not evaluatedif the required data isn't available.
Dimension score = earned points ÷ max points for evaluated checks × 100
Overall AI Visibility Score = weighted average of the six dimension scores
No tool-level averages. No black-box models at runtime. One rubric, one snapshot, one score.
Can AI bots reach your pages? Checks: robots.txt access, sitemap presence, noindex/nofollow conflicts, canonical integrity, HTTP status codes, AI-specific bot access matrix.
Is your structured data present and correct? Checks: Organization JSON-LD, FAQ schema, Product schema where applicable, Article markup, Knowledge Graph alignment.
Does your content answer direct questions? Checks: explicit FAQ sections, question-style headings, direct-answer copy blocks, definition-style entity descriptions.
Can automated systems extract your content cleanly? Checks: JavaScript dependency ratio, heading hierarchy (H1–H4), word count per page, text-to-code ratio, extractable body text without render.
Is your brand information consistent across pages and off-site signals? Checks: business name variants, address/contact consistency, cross-page fact alignment, Knowledge Graph signal strength.
Does your site cover the topics buyers search for? Checks: category intent coverage, missing page types (about, pricing, contact, FAQ), query-intent gaps vs. category benchmark.
Dimension weights were tuned offline using a 10-model AI industry panel stored in calibration_runs and calibration_votes. Median-consensus weights are applied to every scan. Calibration is not re-run per user — weights are stable and versioned with the Standard.
| Signal | Where it appears |
|---|---|
| RAG semantic match % | Informational panel — not in headline score |
| Citation rate % | Visibility signal in paid report — not a score multiplier |
| Tool-level sub-scores | Tool detail views — not the dashboard headline |
| Range | Signal |
|---|---|
| 80–100 | Strong foundation. Minor gaps remain. |
| 60–79 | Addressable gaps. Clear fix path available. |
| 40–59 | Significant structural and content work needed. |
| 0–39 | Foundational issues across multiple dimensions. |
Scores are useful for comparison over time and prioritization. Not a universal benchmark.
